2019 Roadeo

Ken Hartos led the creation of another fine Roadeo for 2019. Pre-planning included Andrew Pardo’s heavy-duty repair of the grille, complete with an embossed “RRR” to clarify any ownership questions. Gene Yetter took the photos (except when he was active in the games).

Games were run by John Harley, Rob Calia, and Dave Czirr. (More game photos later.) Here, Helen Helwig shows off her potato-spearing skills while getaway driver Rich Helwig takes the wheel.

Cooking changed hands this year from Peter Doll to Kate Zatz, shown here with Dave on set-ups; Vicki Lang took over for a while so Kate could take a break and eat.

Very early member Fred Behnke, whose father Fritz was one of the club founders, tapping the member memories.

A wide variety of member cars; over 40 members took 20 vintage cars in, and around half of the cars were used in the games.
